Delete your account

You can delete your KuhuChat account and the data linked to it.

Delete it yourself

In the app, open the menu at the top right of the Samaj, Contacts, Social or Business tab, tap Delete Account, type DELETE and confirm. You can also open app.kuhuchat.com/delete-account, sign in with your phone number, type DELETE and confirm.

Or ask us

Email hiren@kuhuchat.com from any address with the subject "Delete my KuhuChat account" and the phone number on your account. We confirm it is you and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your profile and login, family tree entries, matrimony profile, group memberships, the messages you sent in group and Samaj chats, your wall, Diary threads and your business in Business Hub, together with the photos, videos and voice notes behind them. Your private one-to-one chats are deleted for both people. Your gallery posts, posts on other walls and radar pins are deleted too, unless you tick “Keep my posts, gallery photos and pins”. Then they stay for your Samaj and show as “Deleted user”, with no name, photo or phone number. This cannot be undone.

What we keep

Hotel booking and payment records, which the law and accounting rules require us to keep, and one small log entry with no personal details. Copies that other people saved, forwarded or screenshotted are not removed. For the full details, see FAQ Chapter 24.
